Pentimento

Sam and Valory, feeling oppressed and constrained in their families, run away together out-of-state shortly after graduating high school. Over the time, their connections with their old friends faded away until they were just a shadow of the past. 

A few years later, in a stupor after a dark time, Sam tries to reconnect to everyone she once knew. Time will tell how many of them are still willing to let them back into their lives, and how many have changed. Together, they will uncover what happened during those quiet years.
